Information Collected

There are various types of information that CJI collects, either via CJI’s secure online shopping
cart or during interactions while you use or access our Websites. Some of this information is
provided voluntarily by you and other information is provided through automated processes
under CJI’s control.

Information Provided By You

In addition to PII you may provide during your use of CJI’s secure online shopping cart (e.g.
name and credit card), you may also provide CJI PII during the following representative class of

* requesting customer support and sending us similar communications;

* responding to CJI surveys and other special information requests;

* communicating with CJI regarding our compliance with applicable laws.

The above list is not exhaustive, but merely representative of a class of interactions which are
covered by this Policy.

Information Provided By Automated Processes

CJI may use cookies, web beacons, and log files to collect non-PII. A cookie is data stored in a
small text file on your local access device that contains data about you. The information in the
cookie is used to uniquely identify you and other CJI users. It identifies a particular user at a
particular point in time. You have the option of resetting your browser to reject cookies. It is
possible that in the future some of our partners may use cookies on the CJI Websites; however,
CJI has no control over such cookies.

CJI may collect non-PII through the use of web beacons and log files. TCP/IP addresses are
examples of non-PII. An IP address is way to uniquely identify a computer. CJI may use IP
addresses for analyzing Website usage (e.g. tracking user movement throughout the site) and for
aggregating user metrics. CJI may also use IP addresses for gathering information for aggregate
analytics (e.g. trend analysis). CJI may collect, in addition to IP addresses, browser type and
other related information.

CJI may also use web beacons to enable communications with third parties. A web beacon is a
small image in an HTML page with all dimensions set to 1 pixel. Because of its insignificant
size, it is not visible; but it is used to pass certain non-PII anonymously to third-party sites,
usually advertisers.

and also to select content and services that you may find interesting and useful. Information
about the content you visit and the services you use may be used alone or in conjunction with
information collected from other users to help modify our Websites.

Any PII that you provide CJI will not be shared with third parties without your permission, for
any purpose, other than those enumerated below. CJI reserves the right to share with third parties
aggregated non-PII for the purpose of compiling information that is relevant to the interests of
the CJI community. CJI, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to disclose any information that
it obtains through our Websites to appropriate governmental or regulatory authorities, if required
by law or any governmental agency. Likewise, CJI, at its sole discretion, may share any
information collected, stored and processed, if it has a good faith belief that to do is reasonably
necessary to (1) enforce its Terms of Use; (2) detect, investigate and otherwise address fraud,
security or technical breaches or related matters; or (3) protect against imminent harm to the
rights, property or safety of CJI, its users, customers, or the public, as required or permitted by

Security of Information

Any information sent to CJI through Internet e-mail or through our Websites, other than through
our secure online shopping cart, is not secure and is done so on a non-confidential basis.
Therefore, any information you send CJI over the Internet, either through our Websites or via
email, is done at your own risk. However, once such information is received, CJI takes
appropriate security measures to prevent its unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction.
These measures include periodic review of internal processes, and benchmarking of same with
industry best practices. Access to PII is restricted to CJI employees, contractors, and agents on a
need to know basis. Such individuals are generally bound by confidentiality agreements and may
be subject to termination and criminal prosecution should they fail to comply with same.

Protecting Children

CJI does not knowingly collect or solicit PII from anyone under the age of 18, with or without
parental consent. No child under the age of 18 should attempt to communicate with CJI via
Transmissions (or by any other mechanism), or otherwise provide us any PII including name,
credit card, email address, phone number, physical address or any such similar information. The
protection of children on the Internet is an important public policy concern—one that CJI is
committed to supporting.

practices of such sites. CJI users are encouraged to note when they leave the CJI Websites and to
read the respective privacy policies of each website that collects PII. This Policy only applies to
